Breakthrough Breathwork Teaching and Entrepreneurship Program is a 75-hour immersion in the art and science of pranayama, grounded in classical yoga philosophy and modern neuroscience. The program is designed for yoga teachers seeking YACEP continuing education credit and for dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their personal practice and develop the skills to teach.
• Thursday 6–9pm ET — Core training (lecture, theory, technique, practice)
• Sunday 10:30am–12pm ET — Public breathwork class + trainee meeting
• Daily homework: 20-minute meditation. 20 minutes of daily reading and content study. Implementing The Practice.

Complete Yogic Breathing deep dive experience. Practice teaching in the context of Breakthrough Breathwork. Lecture on Kundalini, the Nadis and Granthis.
Ujjayi Pranayama. 108 Sun Salutes and Breathwork experience. Discussion: "Every class is a breathwork class." Understanding the big picture. Practice teaching.
Extended Nadi Shodhana practice. Lecture on the brain's hemispheres and the power of a "whole mind." Practice teaching towards mastery.
The power of the "Pause." Exploring Complete Yogic Breathing as coherence breathing and how to use breath retention to amplify and expand upon that effect. Lecture on the benefits of kumbhaka from the perspective of science and yoga. The five Koshas.
Our journey comes to an end — one last practice together! Closing Metta circle and graduation.
Jason has been teaching yoga and breathwork since 1998. He's had the good fortune to teach thousands of yoga students over the years, and to see it change their lives profoundly. He's also played a role in the training of hundreds if not thousands of yoga teachers over the years.
Jason founded HeartYoga with his wife Lisa in Minneapolis in early 2016. Their goal was to create a yoga community where people could pour their hearts into their practice and feel like themselves on the other side. After 6 years leading a vibrant yoga community in MN, they moved HeartYoga to the shores of the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Mission Beach, San Diego for 2 years before shifting to online classes. In 2026 they are striving to make HeartYoga online a hub of real growth and transformation.
His teaching stems from the understanding that healing, peace, and awakening are always available within. We just have to KEEP BREATHING and trust the process.
